The project team performed an on-site inspection and assessment of all critical and buried pipeline assets at the Houston Hobby, Houston Internal (Bush), and Ellington (AFB) airports that are either owned or managed by the City of Houston under the Houston Airport System (HAS). Inspections of the three airport water distribution utilities including all major transmission mains were modeled and inspected to determine condition and capacity needs and assess and evaluate risk scores (likelihood and consequence of failure). Pipe inventory included CIP, DIP, WSP, ACP, and PVC. Internal inspections of those pipelines crossing runways and active taxiways were further evaluated to assess the remaining useful life.
