The project involved a Level 2 condition assessment and risk assessment of the City’s. A total of 104,523 pipeline assets were assessed from GIS and Lucity collection system databases. The program (a) identified and prioritized the risk associated with asset failure, enabling the Cityu2019s Utility Department to continue improving operation of the wastewater system in an efficient and strategic manner and minimize life-cycle costs and keep rate increases predictable, (b) provide reliable documentation of the condition of the Utility’s wastewater infrastructure and a plan for mitigating the risk of asset failure, and (c) demonstrated to the Utility’s customers and other stakeholders that the Utility is committed to providing quality services that meet established levels of service and support the economic growth of the community.
